Days at sea 22 sept until 27

The ship is lovely and for 4 days we have been sailing the pacific. Calm seas and beautiful sun. We have set up a trivia team and are doing well won 6 caps, 2 bags, magnet and 3 bottles champagne. Lifes good.
Arrived in Honolulu 7am it's HOT so chillin on Waikiki beach. Don bought a hawaian shirt, me flip flops.
I love my life.Next stop Maui.

Day 2 Monday 21 Sept my birthday

We have a great day, flew from Minneapolis to San Francisco early and travelled on the BART to get to our hotel at fishermans wharf. The best western was great, and so near to the wharf and cablecars. We got free cable car tickets from the hotel ( worth $13 each, another bargain). So we spent our time riding the cars, having had clam chowder, half and half crab amd shrimp sandwich and fish and chips at the wharf. By 430pm we needed to get back to hotel for another freebie, wine and nibbles. At least 5 glasses of red wine later we made our way to "the stinking rose" and for $40 with tip we had garlic starter, shrimp main and pasta main , all full of garlic, yummy.
Another cablecar ride and walk thro china town, we then made our way back to hotel and well deserved bed.
The weather had been good to us, blue sky and sun, but cold. It wasn't hot. We also managed to get 5 litre box red wine and 12 cans beer for$21 all ready for cruise.

Day 1. The 20 th Sept, the journey

We left home on Monday 20 sept early, expecting a 25hr trip. When we got to Minneapolis we got $400 each, food vouchers for dinner and bfastand night in hotel, if we flew to San Francisco the next morning. So although the trip would be even longer, we took that offer up and had a good sleep and money in pocket. Yeh.

4 more days to go, and I have made so many lists on what I need to do, that I am making myself so busy. Yet I have little to do, get US$s, pack bags and tidy house.

Its now 9 days to go, I think I will start getting clothes organised and convert some money. I am sooooo looking forward to seeing South Pacific islands. Yippee.
